  • A short 4 page essay in which you review the scholarly articles written about your author or topic of interest. This paper will help you focus on research. You will need to read at least 3 scholarly articles and at least 1 book in print. YOU MAY NOT USE WIDIPEDIA, GRADESAVER, CLIFFNOTES, ETC. This paper should summarize the research articles you are reading. Based on this research and based on the reading of your author, you should also introduce us to a specific topic which interests you and which you feel warrants further research. In this essay, you will need to introduce the issue, tell us why it interests you and indicate what direction you will take in your critical essay paper. In the case of literature, you can focus on a particular theme important to that author, the author’s use of symbolism, if relevant, r any literary device that the author is known for, or a social issued raised by that author..Beginning with this paper, you must list your references on a Works Cited page and you must start using citations in MLA format.

That is just what the teacher is asking for but you can pick any topic you guys want I don’t really mind.
