What challenges are likely to come up in implementing this policy?

Hi All,
the policy memo…
A policy memo is a pretty specific kind of writing exercise. Specifically, it is a policy argument meant to convince a policy maker that a particular course of action is the best one. While your policy memo is worth a lot in this class (25% of your final grade), they’re not actually very long. For me you’ll be aiming for 5-7 pages (but bear in mind that real world policy memos are often shorter!). Remember, policymakers are busy people, what with all that fund raising and kissing babies and the like…
Here is a basic structure (note that formats vary somewhat in the resource links I provided below):
Title Page
Executive Summary (1 or 2 paragraphs): summarizes your argument–what are the most important points that you want someone to take away?
Background: What is the problem? Why is it important? How did it come about? Who are the stakeholders? (this is one area where your earlier problem identification paper should help)
Policy Critique: What has been done about this problem so far? Why is it inadequate/not getting the job done? What are other available options, and why do they suck?
Policy Recommendations: What SPECIFIC policy action are you recommending? The more specific, the better.
Challenges: What challenges are likely to come up in implementing this policy? Who is NOT going to like this policy change?
References: in text citation, bibliography (as per usual)

How what the inhabitants valued, regarding the region’s physical geography, affect its political future and institutions?

papers are designed to provide you a chance to do more in-depth research and develop a greater understanding of a specific region based on the readings and class discussions. By the end of the class session, your shorter papers will be combined into a larger, and more developed paper on your specific region.
So what do I need to do for these papers?
Get a piece of paper, or a note pad or even a Post-it ® pad. If you use a larger piece of paper, fold it in to quarters, or fourths. That way you can use the four parts (eight if you use the back) to separate and organize your thoughts.
Now imagine yourself in your region, and imagine you are at an open space where there are many people whom you can observe, talk too, and interact with as well.
Now, consider these questions to formulate your outline and your fifth paper (Environment and Society):
How has the influence of the inhabitants’ value on the physical environment affected the people of the region, especially later, as in 100 or 200 years later, or as a post-colonial region? What did they do that changed the physical characteristics of the region and what was the impact of these changes?
Could the perceived value that caused changes have been done differently? In your opinion, were the changes done without forethought for the future (or could they have even perceived the outcomes)?
How what the inhabitants valued, regarding the region’s physical geography, affect its political future and institutions?
Make a final statement including your opinion and conclusions.
**Make sure you add a reference from the pictures attached which were taken from the textbook
