A single station robotic assembly system performs a series of five assembly elements, each of which adds a different component to a base part. Each element takes 6 sec. In addition, the handling time needed to move the base part into and out of position is 4 sec. For identification, the components, as well as the elements that assemble them, are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The fraction defect rate q = 0.005 for all components, and the probability of a jam by a defective component in — 0.7. Average downtime per occurrence = 5.5 min. Deter-mine: (a) production rate, (b) yield of good product in the output.(e)uptime efficiency, and (d) proportion of the output that contains a defective type 3 component.

The current essay describes my personal experience regarding the organisational change process and different aspects associated with it. I have recalled the periodic reflection over the past six years, while the director advised me to introduce changes in the hierarchical practices and job schedule of the workforce. While working as an HR manager in the ABC Financial services, I used to handle 300 plus employees daily basis. I had also experienced different types of employee grievance such as incentive issues, bonus issues, etc. However, the employee shuffling process generated major resistance from the employee side. A large scale of employees was laid off from the system as well. However, measuring the competitive advantage was found difficult as the majority of the employees started refusing to meet the goal sheet of the firm. Due to prior communication regarding the layoff, employees started resisting the changes. The firm had started receiving negative behaviour from the existing employees also.

QUESTION IS DUE TONIGHT IN 4.5 HOURS (11PM EST)

How would you go about designing an experimental study that will control for/reduce any potential threats to validity and reliability in your study? Provide at least two reliable references used to justify your responses.
This answer requires 2 scholarly resources. Must fully answer the question.

Consider major influences that effect health care policy within the United States health care system

Legislative Letter Instructions
You will search for a current federal bill relevant to nursing, patient care, or health care. Bills may be located at The Library of Congress THOMAS website link in the Reading & Study folder.
As a healthcare professional, consider a federal bill that impacts healthcare, nursing or patient care on THOMAS or other federal site. Consider major influences that effect health care policy within the United States health care system, regulatory, and legislative processes when writing the letter.
The assignment will consist of:
title page
one page formal business letter
reference page citing the bill
grading rubric
The title page and reference page documenting the bill must be written in current APA format and include the link to the bill. The grading rubric must include your name, section/course and date. The letter will be typed using 1-inch margins in professional/formal business letter writing format appropriate to send to a member of congress. You may need to research this format.
The letter must include the following: Name and number of the bill (senate or house bill); the bill you will research; and a synopsis of what the bill proposes. What funding considerations are discussed and is there any consideration for funding the legislation? If no funding sources are identified, propose where the funding will come from based on your reading. Advocate and support your position on the bill, pro or con based on your values and Biblical Worldview. Why is this legislation important to nursing, patients or healthcare, and the population you are advocating for, i.e. school children?

Assessment Instructions
For this assessment, identify a topic focused on one aspect of a behavior. Then research and write a paper that describes the current understanding of motivation related to the behavior you identified and discusses applications of research to social policies associated with that behavior.
Assessment Preparation
Select one of the following three broad areas of behavior:

Eating behaviors.
Intimacy behaviors.
Drug use and addiction behaviors.

Then identify a research topic associated with behavioral area you selected. An important skill in conducting research is to narrow the focus of your topic to keep the content manageable and to facilitate finding supportive evidence. To identify a properly narrow topic:

Begin with your selected behavior and start to narrow the focus. See examples of topics listed below. You may use one of the examples or identify your own.
Continue to narrow the focus of your topic with consideration for other relevant factors, such as age of the research subjects (adults versus children), their gender, their educational level, or other demographic or topical factors. Your goal is to identify a research topic that is appropriately narrow and can be sharply defined, and for which research is available.
Do some preliminary research to ensure that you have sufficient sources for your topic. To find sources, select key words and enter them into the Summon search engine in the Capella University Library. If you do not find sufficient resources, revise the focus of your topic and try again.
Finally, develop a working title for your paper (for example, “Motivational Factors in Adolescent Females With Anorexia”) that addresses the narrowed and manageable research topic.

Examples of Topics

Eating behaviors.

Normal hunger and eating patterns.
Cravings for certain foods or food-like substances.
Compulsive eating (obesity).
Dieting or controlled eating.
Eating disorders (anorexia).

Intimacy behaviors.

Sexual arousal (passion).
Attraction.
Commitment.
Sexual orientation.

Drug use and addiction.

“Social” alcohol or drug use.
Initial motivation to use drugs.
Why people become addicted.
Cigarette use or quitting.
Quitting addictive behavior.
Abstinence versus moderation.

Instructions
To complete this assessment, research your topic and write a paper in which you complete the following:

Focus on a well-defined research topic associated with the behavior you selected.
Describe the tools and technologies used in one of the research studies on this topic.
Explain the key motivational (biological, learned, and cognitive) factors associated with the selected behavior.
Identify a social issue associated with the selected behavior that can be addressed by public policy.
Integrate research findings into a description of how public policy has or could address a social issue related to the selected behavior. That is, consider how an understanding of this research could inform public policy related to this issue.

Additional Requirements
Your paper should meet the following requirements:

Written communication: Written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall message.
APA formatting: Resources and citations are formatted according to APA sixth edition style and formatting.
Number of resources: At least 3 scholarly academic resources are included.
Length of paper: The length is a minimum of 4 typed, double-spaced pages, not including the title page and reference list.
Font and font size: Times New Roman, 12-point font is used.

As in the case of the liver transplant for Mickey Mantle, should the system make exceptions for real heroes?

Resource: Ch. 1 of Health Care Ethics (6th ed.)
Mickey Mantle received a liver transplant in 1995. He was a Baseball Hall of Fame center fielder for the New York Yankees whose liver was failing because of cirrhosis and hepatitis. Although the waiting period for a liver transplant in the United States is about 130 days, it took only two days for the Baylor Medical Center’s transplant team to find an organ donor for the 63-year-old former baseball hero.
According to the director of the Southwest Organ Bank, Mantle was moved ahead of others on the list because of his deteriorating medical condition; however, there were mixed feelings about speeding up the process for a celebrity. Mantle was known for overcoming immense obstacles, and many argued that the medical system should provide exceptions for heroes. He was also a recovering alcoholic, which further complicated the ethical implications of the case. Because of Mantle’s medical problems, doctors estimated that he had only a 60 percent chance for a three-year survival; whereas, liver transplant patients typically have about a 78 percent chance for a three-year survival rate.
As in the case of the liver transplant for Mickey Mantle, should the system make exceptions for real heroes? Why or why not?
Write a 1,050- to 1,400-word paper in which you analyze the Mickey Mantle case using the Seven-Step Decision Model.
