Write a 1-2 page paper explaining what types of information you would best research using a legal search engine. Also include what types of information you could research using general search engines, such as Google.com. Explain how you would locate the following information: case law for your state; your state statutes; filing fees for your hometown court; civil rules of procedure for your state; and local rules of procedure for your hometown court. Why is a general search engine (like Google.com) appropriate in certain situations, but not in others? Might a law library be the best option in some cases?
