Aristotle states that a person who has virtue ethics is someone who has admirable characteristics and displays them in a way that is balanced and harmonious (Mosser, 2013). Aristotle would also go to state that a person that has great virtue ethics is someone who has the appropriate virtues, will know how to use them, and will possess moral excellence (Mosser, 2013). Only then can they be flourishing. A person can feel good if they are simply looking out for themselves. But to actually flourish, like Aristotle explains, you would need to have these things and display them always. Characteristics such as courage, generosity, looking out for one another, being a good wingman (Air Force). In my opinion this would be like having a large amount of integrity to not only “do what is right even when nobody is looking’ but to also “do what is right even when everyone is looking”.
