Review the Harvard Business School reprint, Leading Teams. Consider the criteria for successful teams and the factors needed to ensure teams are structured for success.

Criteria for a ‘pass’:

1. Introduction gives reader direction and is addressed throughout the paper.

2. Summary/conclusion is clear and concise.

3. An aspect of the connection to global health was clearly discussed.

4. At least 1 literature source was used.

5. Writing style is fluent with evidence of individuality and clarity.

6. Overall presentation of paper is neat and well organized with few minor errors in syntax, spelling, etc. (i.e. Proper English language usage), follows a chosen referencing style, and includes a title page, reference pages, is double spaced, 11-12 CPI, and 1 inch, non-justified margins.

As the country focuses on the restructuring of the U.S. health care delivery system, nurses will continue to play an important role. It is expected that more and more nursing jobs will become available out in the community, and fewer will be available in acute care hospitals.

  1. Write an informal presentation (500-700 words) to educate nurses about how the practice of nursing is expected to grow and change. Include the concepts of continuity or continuum of care, accountable care organizations (ACO), medical homes, and nurse-managed health clinics.

How can you assess the financial viability and merit of your program? What indications will inform you and others whether your financial strategies are likely to result in positive health outcomes for the population?

This week you continue to develop Assignment 3, applying the principles of cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, and cost-benefit to your program design process.

To prepare for this week’s section of Assignment 3:

  • Review      the information presented in the Learning Resources (see required reading      list further down below).
  • Apply      the use of cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, or cost-benefit to your      program design to determine whether the monies put into your program will      result in positive health outcomes for the population.

To complete:

Write a 3- to 5-page paper* due by 22:00 tomorrow 1/17/18 in APA format with a minimum of 6 scholarly references (See Required Readings list below) that address the following:

1) Budget (developed in Week 7 [see attached file for that assignment])

a) Develop a simple revenue and expense budget for 6 months from start-up and develop a break-even analysis.

b) Articulate a justification for the revenue and expenses indicating where the funds are coming from to support the project and what resources the expenses are related to.

c) Explain any variance from the budget that is not budget neutral.

2) Financial Analysis (developed this week [see attached file for this assignment])

Reflect on Florida’s current health education programs such as Zika Free Florida, Tobacco Free Florida and consider what part the media plays in such disease prevention programs. Identify a specific public health issue that you believe needs to be highlighted in health policy and based on your textbook readings discuss how social media can be used as a health promotion tool to improve public awareness on the selected topic.

Please be sure to adhere to the following when posting your weekly discussions:

1. Students are to write their name and the appropriate discussion number/discussion title in the title bar for each discussion. For example Discussion 1: Micheal Cabrera or Discussion 3: Sheila Smith. This is important in identifying that students are submitting original posts as well as response posts as required.
