Indeed someone to complete the template well
Details:

Advanced registered nurses work in highly collaborative environments and must collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in order to provide excellent patient care. Besides knowing the role and scope of one’s own practice, it is essential to understand the role and scope of other nurse specialties to ensure effective collaboration among nurses, the organization, and other professionals with whom advanced registered nurses regularly interact.

Use the “Nursing Roles Graphic Organizer Template” to differentiate how advanced registered nurse roles relate to and collaborate with different areas of nursing practice. Compare your future role with one of the following: nurse educator; nurse leader; family nurse practitioner; acute care nurse practitioner; graduate nurse with an emphasis/specialty in public health, health care administration, business, or informatics; clinical nurse specialist; doctor of nursing practice. Indicate in the appropriate columns on the template which roles you are comparing.

Make sure to compare the following areas of practice in your graphic organizer:

  1. Ethics
  2. Education
  3. Leadership
  4. Public Health
  5. Health Care Administration
  6. Informatics
  7. Business/Finance
  8. Specialty (e.g., Family, Acute Care)

Include any regulatory bodies or certification agencies that provide guidance or parameters on how these roles incorporate concepts into practice.

You are required to cite three to five sources to complete this assignment. Sources must be published within the last 5 years and appropriate for the assignment criteria and nursing content.

While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.

You are not required to submit this assignment to Turnitin.

Hello,

I will need a cover page, then the nurse graphic that I sent to you then the last the reference page where you willl provide the references that you used to do the work. As a previously sent on the assignment it needs to be at least 3 to 5 reference sources. Also my computer is a MacBook Air and I have pages as my program for writing so if you sent to me needs to open on this one. Also if possible at the end convert the file to PDF as the university website request PDF.

Required Resources
Read/review the following resources for this activity:

  • Textbook: pp. 94-103, 267-270
  • Lesson
  • Minimum of 1 article (academic or credible online source)

Apply the following writing resources to your posts:

Initial Post Instructions

Part 1: Research & Review
Please review the Point: Vaccines Save Lives, an example of a pro article.

Note: The article was pulled from our Chamberlain library’s Points of View Reference Center database. This resource is highly recommended, as it presents many of the topics in the General Education Healthcare field that may be applicable this term. To access the resource from our library website, choose Databases A to Z on the homepage. Locate and click on the Points of View database.  Scroll down to Health & Medicine. You will see a large list of potential topics ranging from Allergies in Schools to Vegetarianism. When you click on a topic (Vaccines, for example), you will see an overview of the topic, as well as points, counterpoints, and a guide to critical analysis.

For your initial post, develop your ideas about a selected topic by conducting an online search to find a recent pro article about your topic. The goal is to find an article that takes a clear pro position. Include the following in your post:

  • Name of the article
  • Author
  • URL
  • Brief summary of the article

The article can be an online source from credible websites or an academic resource from the Chamberlain Library. It must be cited in APA format. For pointers on APA citations, please refer to the Chamberlain Library’s Citation and Writing Assistance website (noted in the Required Resources).

Part 2: Application
For the second part of the initial post, address the following:

  • Discuss which of the topic generation methods from this week’s lecture worked best for you and why (or did you use an alternate approach?).
  • How will you remain objective about your topic?
  • Who is your audience?
  • Based on the topic development completed so far, brainstorm 3 potential pros for your topic choice.

Follow-Up Post Instructions

Respond to at least two peers or one peer and the instructor. Strive to provide constructive criticism that will help your fellow students develop their own topics by asking questions, pointing to additional research, or providing professional and personal examples. Help your fellow peers to brainstorm potential pros for their topics. Since many of the topics we will deal with in this course are controversial, a respectful, professional tone is expected.

Note: If you see that someone has already received feedback from two peers, please choose to help a peer who has yet to obtain feedback.

Writing Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 posts (1 initial & 2 follow-up)
  • Initial Post Length: minimum of 3 college-level paragraphs
  • APA format for in-text citations and list of references

seasonal-pattern depression

WEEK 2 Q1 DA….

  1. Exploring the rate of seasonal-pattern depression in an Inuit community

Method: Qualitative

Design Study: Ethnographic

Rationale: The method is qualitative because qualitative studies do not focus on numbers or variables.  Qualitative research focuses on the feeling, beliefs, and/or perception.  The design is ethnographic because the study is exploring participants in their environment (Houser, 2018).

  1. Democracy in America

Method: Qualitative

Design Study: Historical

Rationale:  Qualitative research focuses on the perception and values.  The design is a Historical Study.  This design study uses data from the past as it relates to the current Democracy in America. Allowing for data on the progression of a perception (Houser, 2018).

  1. The relationship between compassion fatigue and burnout among critical care nurses

Method: Quantitative

Design Study: Correlation

Rationale: Quantitative methods of research focus on data that are mensurable.  Compassion fatigue and burnout among nurses is a measurable study. The study allows for the collection of data between two variables.  The two variables of this study are compassion fatigue and burnout among critical nurses. (Houser, 2018)

  1. Two drugs for Alzheimer’s show promise

Method: Quantitative

Design Study: Experimental design

Rationale: Quantitative methods of research will focus on the two drugs. I chose experimental design because this type of study is used in comparing a test group to a control group. (Houser, 2018)

  1. Evaluating technology with student success

Method: Quantitative

Design Study: Case Study

Rational: Quantitative method is used to measure student success. Case studies are used to determine the data related to a single event.  In this case, the event is how technology affects compares to success (Houser, 2018).

  1. Factors that influence weight control among women

Method: Quantitative

Design Study: Case Study

Rationale: Quantitative methods of research focus on data that are measurable, such as numbers and variables. A case study could be used for the factors influencing weight control. In this study, the researchers are investigating the factors that influence weight control in the female population (Houser, 2018).

  1. The meaning of living with brain injury and stroke 10 years after the injury

Method: Qualitative

Design Study: Phenomenological

Rationale:  Qualitative research focuses on the feeling and perceptions of the specific population being investigated. A phenomenological study is a lived experience therefore I believe this could be the design study (Houser, 2018).

  1. Exploring the beliefs of healing among Aborigines

Method: Qualitative

Design Study:  Ethnography

Rationale: I chose qualitative, because the study is exploring the beliefs of a specific population, and beliefs cannot be measured.  The design study is ethnography, because this type of study focuses on the culturally beliefs over a extended period of time (Houser, 2018).

Nursing Practice

Among the Resources in this module is the Rutherford (2008) article Standardized Nursing Language: What Does It Mean for Nursing Practice? In this article, the author recounts a visit to a local hospital to view the recent implementation of a new coding system.

During the visit, one of the nurses commented to her, “We document our care using standardized nursing languages but we don’t fully understand why we do” (Rutherford, 2008, para. 1).

How would you respond to a comment such as this one?

To Prepare:

  • Review the concepts of informatics as presented in the Resources, particularly Rutherford, M. (2008) Standardized Nursing Language: What Does It Mean for Nursing Practice?
  • Reflect on the role of a nurse leader as a knowledge worker.
  • Consider how knowledge may be informed by data that is collected/accessed.

The Assignment:

In a 2- to 3-page paper, address the following:

  • Explain how you would inform this nurse (and others) of the importance of standardized nursing terminologies.
  • Describe the benefits and challenges of implementing standardized nursing terminologies in nursing practice. Be specific and provide examples.
  • Be sure to support your paper with peer-reviewed research on standardized nursing terminologies that you consulted from the Walden Library.

dissemination of your EBP project.

Determine one internal and one external method for dissemination of your EBP project. For example, an internal method may be the hospital board, and an external method may be a professional nursing organization. Discuss why it is important to report your results to both of these groups. How might your tactics change for each type of group?

Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Case Study

The patient is an 11-year-old girl who has been complaining of intermittent right lower quadrant pain and diarrhea for the past year. She is small for her age. Her physical examination indicates some mild right lower quadrant tenderness and fullness.

Studies Results

Hemoglobin (Hgb), 8.6 g/dL (normal: >12 g/dL) Hematocrit (Hct), 28% (normal: 31%-43%) Vitamin B12 level, 68 pg/mL (normal: 100-700 pg/mL) Meckel scan, No evidence of Meckel diverticulum D-Xylose absorption, 60 min: 8 mg/dL (normal: >15-20 mg/dL) 120 min: 6 mg/dL (normal: >20 mg/dL) Lactose tolerance, No change in glucose level (normal: >20 mg/dL rise in glucose)

Small bowel series, Constriction of multiple segments of the small intestine Diagnostic Analysis The child’s small bowel series is compatible with Crohn disease of the small intestine. Intestinal absorption is diminished, as indicated by the abnormal D-xylose and lactose tolerance tests. Absorption is so bad that she cannot absorb vitamin B12. As a result, she has vitamin B12 deficiency anemia. She was placed on an aggressive immunosuppressive regimen, and her condition improved significantly. Unfortunately, 2 years later she experienced unremitting obstructive symptoms and required surgery. One year after surgery, her gastrointestinal function was normal, and her anemia had resolved. Her growth status matched her age group. Her absorption tests were normal, as were her B12 levels. Her immunosuppressive drugs were discontinued, and she is doing well.

Critical Thinking Questions

1. Why was this patient placed on immunosuppressive therapy?

2. Why was the Meckel scan ordered for this patient?

3. What are the clinical differences and treatment options for Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease? (always on boards)

4. What is prognosis for patients with IBD and what are the follow up recommendations for managing disease?

genetic and genomic risk factors.

Design nursing care strategies which incorporate genetic and genomic risk factors.

Scenario

You are a new graduate nurse caring for a patient that received a positive result from a genetic or genomic testing technology. Part of your role as a general nurse in genetic and genomic care is to provide accurate information, ensure appropriate patient referral, and serve as a patient advocate.

Instructions

Develop a plan of care that identifies nursing strategies that incorporate genetic and genomic risk factors, three interprofessional resources, and three referral resources for a client that has a positive result from a genetic or genomic testing technology that you explain.

Your plan of care will be presented in a Word document that includes the following sections:

  • Explanation a specific genetic or genomic testing technology
  • Describe what positive results of the testing technology indicates
  • Design a plan of nursing care strategies based on positive results
  • Describe three interprofessional resources in planning care for clients with genetic and genomic needs
  • Determine three resources for facilitation of genetic and genomic referrals
