According to your Management textbook, a strategy map “is a visual representation of the key drivers of an organization’s success, showing the cause-and-effect relationship among goals and plans.” Refer to Exhibit 7.4 in the textbook. A strategy map seeks to align organizational goals into strategy and provide clear direction for the organization.

Review the mission statement of your selected organization. Prior to creating a strategy map, identify your stakeholders. Complete a stakeholder analysis to identify and prioritize the various stakeholders. Refer to the “Stakeholder Analysis” resource from Mindtools and complete all steps.

Based on your strategic goal, create a strategy map using Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, or other software. Include only the required perspectives (financial, customer, internal, and learning and growth) that pertain to the strategic goal in your map. The cause-and-effect relationships are described by connecting arrows.

APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.

This week you learned about the importance of shaping culture and how it is a critical function of leadership.

Write a paper on organizational culture.

Address the following in your paper:

• What is culture?
• Why is it important?
• Internal integration.
• External adaptation.
• Also include a description of a culture for an organization you are familiar with. Identify some physical artifacts—such as logo, mascot, building, advertising images—associated with the company and discuss what underlying values these suggest.

The requirements below must be met for your paper to be accepted and graded:

• Write between 750 – 1,250 words (approximately 3 – 5 pages) using Microsoft Word in APA style, see example below.
• Use font size 12 and 1” margins.
• Include cover page and reference page.
• At least 80% of your paper must be original content/writing.
• No more than 20% of your content/information may come from references.

Assignment Instructions: Write a letter to the editor of the Troy Messenger or the Tropolitan with related to topics relevant to the citizens of W city or W University.  Be creative when choosing your topics, but keep them relevant to the community as a whole.  You will want your letter to be selected for publication, so be attentive to detail regarding formatting and editing.  Do not submit a letter to the newspaper staff that has not been proofed and properly edited.

My topic is suggest building the road where aroud the city. The W university is very important to the W city. There are not too many road only for walking even though lots of students do not have a car. Many students feel bored and inconvienet because there are nothing to do without a car. If there are more walking road, lots of things would be changed. Those no car students, especially international students, can do many things by themselves.

A popular type of training at all levels of an organization is behaviorally experienced training. These types of trainings focus on emotional and behavioral learning. For example, employees can learn about behaviors by role-playing, in which individuals act out situations. Based on your experiences, discuss the added value of behaviorally experienced training. How do we as HRM professionals objectively determine the “value” of behaviorally experienced training? Then, discuss the problems of behaviorally experienced training that should be taken into consideration by human resource professionals. Finally, make a recommendation as to how behaviorally experienced training can be assessed and used for succession planning.
