RESPOND TO THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT:

Today, doctors prescribes medical marijuana as a treatment for certain health issues like sleeping disorders, aches and pains, eating conditions that is related to other medical treatments like chemotherapy, and even a disease like cancer. A few advantages of the use to treat and calm PTSD. Aside from the fact that the federal government classifies marijuana as a schedule 1 drug, the disadvantages are it can be impairment of thinking, problem-solving skills and memory, increase the risk of heart attack, heighened the risk of chronic cough and respiratory infections or reduce balance and coordination. The evidence is overwhelming that marijuana can relieve certain types of pain, nausea or cancer. I guess it could be remarkably safe versus the other types of harsh drugs that are prescribed, it can be less toxic. I think that prescribing it is okay to a certain extent, but if the disadvantages of it is outweighing the advantages it suppose to have then what is the point? Not only is it only effecting you in a bad way but also someone around you. For instance it causing chronic coughs and infections. That type of illness is defiantly not a good feeling and sometimes takes way to long to get rid of.
