4. Create a high-level AS IS process flow chart using an appropriate design tool.
5. Identify at least one metric to measure the process and its application (how, what, when, and who).
6. Use an appropriate tool to collect data for each step of the process.
7. Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the process using data collected.
8. Determine areas for improvement.
9. Design an improved process flow chart using an appropriate tool.
10. Summarize two items from this improved process and include an application of these items to a process in your own personal or professional life.

UTILIZING WALMART AS OUR COMPANY, WE ARE FOCUSING ON THE TRANSPORTATION PART OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN. THE INTERNAL PROCESS WE ARE EVALUATING IS THE LOGISTICAL PART OF GETTING THE ITEM FROM THE MANUFACTURER TO THE DISTRIBUTION CENTER, THEN THE DISTRIBUTION CENTER TO THE ACTUAL STORES.
