Use the remedy finder to treat you own minor ailment.
You may need to purchase the recommended items/products in your area.
Click on the Remedy Grid and save the screen.
Submit / upload your Remedy Grid.
Part 2

Write a 4-5 page report summarizing the remedy you took.
Please include how you took the remedy and its effectiveness.
Research the remedy you used further and provide evidence to support its effectiveness.
Find / use researched articles/books of EBP (Evidenced Based Practice). Cite and reference your sources (APA Style).
Your paper should be 4-5 pages, including:

Based on the AP role of the person that you interviewed in W1 Project, in a 3- to 5-page paper (excluding the title page, references, and appendices) describe the role, the type of organization, and address all the interview questions, and include:

• List the type of organization. For example: Primary care office, ED, Specialty, cardiology GI etc.
• List the type of and how many clients it serves. FP would see all ages. Research in your area the number of visits in a local office per year or # of visits seen local ED, specialty office etc.

Assessment of Community-Level Barriers

Based on this week’s research, conduct an assessment of the barriers, limitations, and other distinguishing features, as they exist within your community.

• Prepare a recap of the model program for your community that you originally shared in the week 2 written assignment.  As stated in the Week Two directions, changes to the potential program can be made as you research and develop the focus of the program.
• Analyze and discuss at least three critical barriers that impact the health and well-being of your chosen group; one must be a micro-level (individual) barrier that is financial, one must be a macro-level (community/state) barrier that relates to access and funding for care, and  the third barrier may be one of your choosing.
• Discuss at least one proposed solution for each barrier. Your solution for the micro barrier must include an analysis of various potential funding options (both independent and integrated). Your solution for the macro barrier must include an analysis of financing resources for health care.
• Research and analyze the regulatory, legal, ethical, and accreditation requirements and issues for the service(s) offered in your proposed program.  Discuss how each will impact the management of the program.

To begin, work through the reference list that was created in the Problem Description Assignment in Topic 2. Appraise each resource using the “Rapid Critical Appraisal Checklists” available in the textbook appendix. The specific checklist you use will be determined by the type of evidence within the resource.

Develop a research table to organize and summarize the research studies. Using a summary table allows you to be more concise in your narrative description. Only research studies used to support your intervention are summarized in this table. Refer to the “Evaluation Table Template” available in the textbook appendix or use the “Evaluation Table Template” resource as an adaptable template.

Write a narrative of 750-1,000 words (not including the title page and references) that presents the research support for the project’s problem and proposed solution. Make sure to include:

1. Description of the search method (i.e., databases, keywords, criteria for inclusion and exclusion, and number of studies that fit your criteria).
2. Summarization of all of the research studies used as evidence. The essential components of each study need to be described so that readers can evaluate its scientific merit, including study strengths and limitations.
3. Description of the validity of the internal and external research.

It is essential to make sure that the research support for the proposed solution is sufficient, compelling, relevant and from peer-reviewed professional journal articles.

Although you will not be submitting the checklist information or the evaluation table you design in Topic 3 with the narrative, the checklist information and evaluation table should be placed in the appendices for the final paper.
