Further develop the agonist to antagonist spectrum and touch upon partial agonists and inverse agonists.

Response 1b)
Calcium is a tricky ion. It works in both ion gated and G-coupled protein receptors. Be careful with this point. Inverse agonists basically turn a receptor “off”. It also negates any base line activity.
