give feedback to the following responce,
Maximillian Barney, CEO and president of Biotech, during a virtual meeting with various Heads of marketing was contemplating as to whether her managers should be viewed as leaders too. With recent drop in sales in food supplements after General Mills and Nestle stepped on the market scene, the question as to whom should handle this matter was brought to the table. Should the resolve for this issue come from the top or be handled by the managers at a lower level? Looking back on week one that discusses the role of today's modern manager, Max realizes that managers are in fact leaders too, not just the owners of the company. Industrial age company's were structured in a way that gave all control to management starting from the top down to employees using a formal hierarchy structure (Ivey Business Journal, 2010). The modern manager of today, post industrial age allows for employees to basically be managers of themselves to a certain degree. It also requires that managers engage more with employees giving them the power to become creatively involved in certain aspects of the company using innovation (Ivey Business Journal, 2010).
With this in mind, Max takes a closer look at what makes a successful leader. A successful leader in management is one that can lead, encourage, motivate, take risks, while achieving goals that exceed expectations for the company (Linkedin, 2014). Motivation is a very important quality to be able to give to employees, especially when constant changes throughout the company are inevitable. Understanding how to lead a team of employees that are motivated through what the company has to offer and by great leadership and management skills is a recipe for a successful and profitable organization. Max understands that leaders come in so many different forms with so many different titles. Yes, owners are also leaders, but not as engaged as managers are with their employees. With the recent drop in sales it is imperative that both owners, but especially managers come up with a strategic plan as to how to increase their sales. One manager mentioned using their own ideas and talents to figure out what's needed in order to boost sales. This is the kind of mentality Max is looking for out of all of her managers. Leaders know how to take initiative and don't necessarily wait to be told what to do. As stated earlier, employees can also manage amongst themselves when given the proper tools from management. From the top where the owners make the big decisions all the way to the very bottom where employees as well as managers are using strategic ways to boost sales making decisions on their own, every employee plays a significant role in the overall success of Biotech company.

This is in refrence to the following activity,
This week, we look at leadership from the manager’s perspective and explore the differences looking at leadership from a leader’s perspective. Managers focus on process, procedure, and implementation of the organization’s purpose. A manager's perspective is about getting the job done and keeping stability.
In a recent virtual management meeting the Heads of the various marketing departments of Biotech met to discuss the recent decline in sales of food supplements since Nestle and General Mills entered the market. In a meeting to get direction on how to fix the drop in sales, the question came up about who should handle the matter – the marketing managers or the owners. One manager said, “A problem like this should have a solution from the top.” Another manager responded, “I do not agree. We have dips in sales all the time and we go out and fix them using our own ideas and talent.” “I agree, managers are leaders too” another voice said. Maximillian Barney sat back in the Yonkers conference room away from the camera noting that the Americans wanted to move on their own, the Europeans held back but signaled agreement with the Americans. The rest were quiet.   Maximillian pondered, “How do I see my managers – are they leaders too?”
Looking back at week one theorists and our readings this week, how should Maximillian answer this question?

Assignment 2: Cultural Competence and Sensitivity
Not only is context important in determining whether an individual’s behavior meets the criteria for a mental disorder, but culture and family background can also be important factors. Some behaviors would clearly be “abnormal” in any culture or family, while other behaviors are not so clearly defined.
Using your textbook and the Argosy University online library resources, research the role of cultural norms in identifying mental disorders. Based on your research, respond to the following:
Why is culture an important consideration in the interview, assessment, and diagnostic process?
How might your own cultural, ethnic, or family values, rules, or traditions be misinterpreted as “abnormal” by someone from a dissimilar background? Give examples in your answer.
Write your initial response in 2–3 paragraphs. If you refer to research information, cite sources applying APA standards. The post None first appeared on Nursing School Essays.

analyze different WBS formats and evaluate whether they meet basic criteria for clarity.

Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Within reason, is there such a thing as a project that is too complex to complete? Consider the Space Shuttle. One of the most complex machines ever built, the Space Shuttle had over 2.5 million parts, each of which had to be accounted for by someone. How did anyone manage to track and properly assemble these parts? The answer is through the application of a work breakdown structure (WBS). A WBS is a fundamental tool that project managers use to organize and divide the work of a project. A WBS focuses on breaking down a project’s scope into individual deliverables that may be created by assigned team members.
There are multiple work breakdown structure formats and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Project managers select a type of WBS based upon the specifics of the project they are managing. Each WBS format emphasizes different aspects of a project. These varied perspectives may each be appropriate, depending upon what information a project manager needs.
In this Discussion, you analyze different WBS formats and evaluate whether they meet basic criteria for clarity.

(SEE ATTACHED PDF FILE)Consider the advantages and disadvantages of each WBS format included in the document.Think about the level of detail dedicated to task information in each WBS format. Evaluate the formats based on the following criteria for clarity:
The task has a measurable status or completion. The task has defined start and end events. The task has a deliverable. The task’s time and cost are easily estimated. The task can be completed without interruption and additional input after its start.

2nd Response to discussion-Comparing Three Theories

I only need 2 to 3 lines and reference on this discussion below
(J Saunder) In my opinion, the best counseling theory that would help Roberta is the person- centered theory. Person- centered therapy is a more comfortable setting for Roberta and her husband to try and rekindle their marriage.  This is also the idea environment for Roberta to address the affair that she has been secretly having without feeling like she is being judged or reprimanded.  The person-centered theory has three therapeutic conditions for change to occur in the client (Argosy University, 2017).  The three conditions are: Counselor congruence, Empathic understanding, and Unconditional positive regard (Argosy University, 2017).  The condition of counselor congruence means that a counselor will be honest with the client.  The counselor has experienced what is said to the client (Argosy University, 2017).  The condition of empathic understanding is knowing what the client is thinking, feeling, and experiencing, then communicating it to them (Argosy University, 2017).  The condition of unconditional positive regard is to respect and accept the client despite their wrong-doing (Argosy University, 2017).  The ultimate goal of this therapy is for the client to reach self- actualization (Argosy University, 2017).
I would go about helping her by making her feel comfortable enough to allow herself to think clearly and logically about her decision.  I would utilize listening skills to allow her to convey her feelings without interruption.  I would pay close attention to her verbal and nonverbal messages (Argosy University, 2017).  I would also explain Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs pyramid.  I would then ask her to identify what she felt was her place on the pyramid, afterwards, I would identify her goal placing which would be self-actualization (Argosy University, 2017).   I would ensure that the sessions that we had were centered around the changes within herself that would result in our goal being met (Argosy University, 2017).  These changes include: becoming open to experience without distorting it to fit into already established belief systems, trusting her own judgment, utilizing her inner source of evaluation, and becoming willing to continue to grow with the understanding that she can always be in the process of becoming better (Argosy University, 2017).
I would respond by saying that I would be more than happy to offer my direct professional advice which would be similar to my personal advice.  The potential problems that might arise if I give her direct advice would be to violate the code of ethics set by the ACA stating that counselors will not impose their feelings, thoughts, or views on the client.  A potential problem if I decline to give direct advice would be that I potentially loose her as a client because she is dissatisfied with the decision.  The person- centered therapy says that a therapist does not manipulate the change in the client but creates the conditions that is needed for the growth of the client (Carl Rogers and Person-Centered Counseling, 2014).
I would respectfully decline her offer and I would instead give her my office hours.  This would not be appropriate at any time because of the code of ethics from the ACA.  With her being my client, I am prohibited from violating the boundaries between client and counselor ( American Counseling Association, 2014).  The conflicts that this create is that it could be seen as me creating a personal relationship with a client, accepting gifts if she decides to buy, and the assumption that I would accept such an offer from all of my clients.  The point of person-centered therapy is that the client has the most comfortable conditions possible for their growth (Argosy University, 2017).

FOR WIZARD KIM ONLY

300-500 Words due by Friday.
It is reasonable to expect that a place of work operates in a manner that is legal and equitable. However, rarely are things quite that simple. The legal system covering employment issues is rather complex, with many layers and gray areas, and the concept of fairness suffers from a mostly subjective interpretation. Nonetheless, to be proper representatives of the field of industrial/organizational (I/O), we need to be aware of legal and ethical issues in the workplace and be prepared to guide organizational decisions, policies, and processes accordingly.
For this assignment, respond to the following:

Provide an example of a violation of employment law that you or another individual has witnessed. Include the law in question, a description of the issue, and the outcome. How could the situation have been avoided?
Discuss the role of the interview in candidates’ perceptions of fairness in the selection process. What would you predict reactions to be if interviews were eliminated?
The company you work for has a large number of expatriates, most of whom are Americans placed throughout Mexico, Portugal, Italy, and Saudi Arabia. Attrition rates are high in all locations when compared to attrition rates at the US office. What two suggestions do you have for management as it attempts to reduce attrition?
You are consulting for a client who wants to install security cameras throughout the office. He or she is asking where he or she can and cannot install them. What should he or she tell employees, and what impact may this have on organizational culture or employee attitudes? What advice would you give to him or her?
