1. What is the role of a project-steering committee in an IT project? Who might be members of that committee? Why?
2. Benefits of outsourcing include: cost savings, ability to concentrate on other core business areas, implementation of wide initiatives, ability to move resources to other areas, varied skills, reduction in training expense, greater flexibility. Question: Is it difficult to bring the outsourced area back “in-house”?

4. Some organization outsource so they don't have to hire an IT staff. On the other hand, some organization have an IT staff but still outsource. Some companies outsource so their staff can learn the latest technology while having the older system outsourced for maintenance purposes. Either way, outsourcing is needed to keep processes flowing effectively. One corporation I worked for outsourced half of their project managers to keep up with a growing demand. This caused a huge problem as the full time employees who worked for the corporation began to get concerned that the outsourced team may take their job.
How can an organization break down the barrier between the two groups: the in house team and the outsourced team?
5. Companies often decide to outsource to fulfill a need.? The need may be that the organization does not have the staff, expertise or skills needed to maintain a system/department. Specifically in IT, the industry changes very rapidly. Once a company decides to outsource IT the newly acquired outsourced team must still be managed to ensure a quality outcome. One way to manage a team is to consider implementing a governance team. The IT team's performance must be effective and they must be? able to deliver a quality product. A governance team will be able to focus on establishing and enforcing standards that all team members, even outsourced team members, must adhere to.
1. What is the role of the governance team? ??
2. How can it help manage the quality of service the outsourced team delivers???

SarahAc€?cs Organic Soap (Q10 Ac€?o Q12) SarahAc€?cs Organic Soap Company makes four kinds

SarahAc€?cs Organic Soap (Q10 Ac€?o Q12)
SarahAc€?cs Organic Soap Company makes four kinds of organic liquid soap- Ac€A?regularAc€??, Ac€A?lavenderAc€??, Ac€A?citrusAc€?? and Ac€A?tea treeAc€??. Demand for the four scents are 150, 120, 75 and 50 kgs per hour respectively. SarahAc€?cs production process can produce any soap at the rate of 450 kgs per hour but 1.5 hours are needed to switch between scents. During those switchover times, the process doesnAc€?ct produce any soap. Sarah wants to choose a production schedule that (i) cycles repeatedly through the four scents, (ii) meets the required demand and (iii) minimizes the amount of inventory held.
Q10) How many kgs of Ac€A?regularAc€?? should Sarah produce before switching over to another scent?
Q11) Sarah needs to purchase organic Palm oil to make her soaps. She needs 1,000 kgs of Palm oil per day on average. The supplier charges a $60 delivery fee per order (which is independent of the order size) and $4.75 per kg. SarahAc€?cs annual holding cost is 25%. Assume 52 weeks per year and 5 days per week. If Sarah wants to minimize inventory holding and ordering costs, how much Palm oil should she purchase with each order (in kgs)?
Q12) SarahAc€?cs supplier is willing to sell her Palm oil at a 5% discount if she purchases 10,000 kgs at a time. If she were to purchase 10000 kgs per order what would be her average inventory holding and delivery fees per day (in $s)? (Note, do NOT include her purchasing costs per day, which would be 1000 x 4.75 x 95%.)

examine ethics for nursing research and evidence-based practice, please consider and present examples of human experimentation that have occurred during the history of medical research

200 words 2 references within 5 years (prefer nursing journals or peer reviewed only)
Henrietta Lacks was an African American woman whose cancer cells were the source of the HeLa cell line, one of the most important cell lines in medical research. HeLa cells are “immortalized cells.” Immortalized cells lines are important because they will reproduce indefinitely under specific conditions. The HeLa immortal cell line was vital for creating the polio vaccine, cloning (i.e., Dolly the sheep), gene mapping (i.e., the Human Genome Project) and more.
Mrs. Lacks was the unwitting source of these cells when her tumor was biopsied in 1951 during treatment for cervical cancer at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland. Her cells were then cultured by George Otto Gey, who created the cell line known as “HeLa” (i.e., Henrietta Lacks). Consent was NOT obtained to culture her cells, nor was she (or her family) ever compensated for the use of the cells despite the fact that the HeLa cell line revolutionized modern medicine!
As we examine ethics for nursing research and evidence-based practice, please consider and present examples of human experimentation that have occurred during the history of medical research. Have these projects resulted in beneficial outcomes for society? Can human experimentation be justified when the greater good of society is at stake?
