Determine the timeline of the grant as well as your activity timeline and management plan to ensure you have covered all the nuances of project work that has associated costs.

My project idea is developing a grant that will assist with disruptive/unruly high school students. Once this proposal is developed and funded it will assist schools and their teachers with methods that will allow them to be more in control of their classrooms which will ultimately promote effectiveness and a higher graduation rate. Better classroom management techniques will be more appealing to stakeholders and other organizations because it will make education in the public school system more marketable when compared to private schools.
Assignment:
Final Project: Writing the Grant Part 3: Budget, Budget Justification/Narrative, & Sustainability Plan
Constructing a budget requires time and attention to detail. This section of the grant proposal should include the narrative or justification and the financial details associated with funding the project. While the tabulated costs address the financial requirements associated with the budget, the narrative or justification should explain anything that is not apparent in the itemized budget. Be careful not to get redundant with the budget narrative. It is best to review examples to understand the required balance. Finally, as you consider developing your budget, make sure that you have fully examined the requirements of the RFP. Determine the timeline of the grant as well as your activity timeline and management plan to ensure you have covered all the nuances of project work that has associated costs. Ask yourself: Does this budget reflect all activities? Are all the project costs as well as the in-kind donations and volunteer resources documented? Is this budget realistic?
For this Assignment:
Review the Final Project Guidelines provided in this module’s Learning Resources.
Carefully review the University of Wisconsin-Extension resource as well as other Learning Resources focused on project budgets. You also may find additional online information from reputable grant-related organizations.
With consideration to feedback in Discussion 1 that you received from colleagues and your Instructor, and to your continued evaluation of the literature and funder guidelines, finalize your project Budget, Budget Narrative, and Sustainability Plan.
For your Assignment:
Part I: Budget Template
Use the budget template provided in the Learning Resources.
Fill in the budget template for your project.
Note: Rationale for costs will be provided in the budget narrative.
Note 2: Budget line items should consider the non-personnel and personnel resources listed in the methodology section.
Part II: Budget Narrative and Sustainability Plan
The Budget Narrative expands on the line items of the budget, providing a reviewer detail and justification for how you arrived at the projected dollar amounts. For example: If hiring a consultant for $2,000 is a line item, the narrative might explain that this is based on 40 hours @ $50/hour.
The Sustainability Plan explains how your agency plans to continue operating this program once the funding has run out.
It also indicates where future funding and other resources might be obtained.
Note: All relevant cost issues from the budget are addressed in the sustainability plan.

Career planning and development – Nursing Essay Tutors

In M3: Assignment 2, (ATTACHED) you assessed the training needs for the situation in the scenario and developed a proposal to address the needs.
For this assignment, you will create an organizational development strategy for the situation in the scenario.
The scenario:
You have recently been appointed as the training manager for the southeastern division of a major supermarket chain in the U.S. Your territory includes fifteen retail stores and your responsibility involves working directly with store managers and other stakeholders to develop training solutions to meet the specific needs of the employees in the various stores. This includes, but is not limited to, performing needs assessments, determining appropriate instructional design and training delivery methods, and implementing and evaluating training initiatives.
Three of the stores in your territory have missed their sales goals for the last two quarters. All three stores have received low customer-satisfaction scores and are experiencing increased employee turnover rates. The high employee turnover has resulted in the store managers hiring many new and relatively inexperienced sales associates, which further contributes to the problem.
The senior management team of this major supermarket chain believes that training and development may help alleviate these problems. You have been asked to assess the training needs and develop a proposal to address the situation in the three stores.
Directions:
For the organization referenced in the scenario, create an organizational development strategy that addresses the organization’s competitiveness over the next ten years. In contrast to the more immediate needs that you have addressed in the earlier assignments, focus on how the training department can prepare employees to enable improvements in organizational effectiveness. Make sure to address the importance of having high employee retention rates and high levels of employee satisfaction.
In preparation for a formal presentation to senior management, create a 15–18 slide Microsoft PowerPoint presentation in which you explain your organizational development strategic plan. Use the slides to highlight your key points and provide details for each using the Speaker’s Notes feature. Make sure your plan includes the following:
Assess the organization’s competitiveness over the next ten years.
Identify the potential gaps in organizational effectiveness related to staffing.
Identify and explain the potential employee needs that can lead to improved organizational effectiveness.
Propose an organizational development strategy that takes into consideration the needs of the employees as well as the needs of the organization in order to maintain and develop its competitive edge. Make sure you have at least one example of each and explain how it will lead to improved organizational effectiveness.
Formal education
On-the-job training
Special assignments
Mentorship model
Coaching
Career planning and development
Organizational practices to help employees develop careers
Assess return on investment of training resources
Your response should be thorough and address all components of the discussion question in detail, include citations of all sources, where needed, according to the APA Style, and demonstrate accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Discuss the financial impact of emotional reactions to change so your audience “buys in” to any proposed investments of time or money

You anticipate a great deal of resistance to change from the employees of Pegasus, especially if there are layoffs involved. You and the HRD group must first identify the emotional factors of change and then present a plan to address these issues to the company in a meeting. You must consider the overall culture of the organization as well as all the subcultures.
Research how people and organizations react to change, both positive and negative. If possible, interview coworkers, family, and friends who have experienced substantial change in their lives. Review articles and books on how organizations have successfully moved through changes, and study those that have failed to make changes to succeed. Develop a set of recommendations that will minimize the negative reactions from individuals and the organization to the change being planned for Pegasus. Be sure to cite your sources using APA guidelines.
Prepare a presentation for Pegasus’ senior management team, focusing on anticipated employee reactions to organizational change (including the possibility of layoffs), and complete the following:
Present your findings from your research and surveys on how people react to change.
Propose an action plan to address these reactions.
Discuss the financial impact of emotional reactions to change so your audience “buys in” to any proposed investments of time or money

What kind of risk do the MCOs assess?

Risk-Based Reimbursement
For your assignment, a primary care physician is often reimbursed by Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) via capitation, fee-for-service, relative value scale, or salary. Capitation is considered as a risk based compensation.
In an effort to understand the intricacies involved with physician reimbursement, particularly in an era of health care reform, identify and interview an expert in the field, such as:
Hospital Administrator
Managed Care Organization (MCO) executive
Health care Consultant
Legal Professional
Assumption: MCOs use risk-based reimbursement for primary care physicians.
Ask the following questions in the interview:
What kind of risk do the MCOs assess?
Does risk-based compensation limit the freedom of primary care physicians in any way in terms of patient care? Why or why not?
How does the capitation model of reimbursement work? Do physicians generally prefer one model over the other? Why or why not?
Why do HMOs prefer the prepaid, monthly premium?
Is pay-for-performance a better model than existing models of compensation? Are there limitations to it as well?
Feel free to add additional follow-up questions for depth and clarification as you see fit.
Create a 4- to 5-page report in Microsoft Word document, analyzing the responses provided (which should be included as part of the report) using the evidence from the literature to help support or refute the responses provided.
